How Does It Work?

Snowcycle Adventure has a mobile fleet of all-terrain Fat bikes. We have multiple guided rides with different durations. Choose your date, destination and duration from our calendar and we will bring all the equipment necessary for the adventure. 

Cap Saint Jacques

The biggest park in Montreal located in a peninsula at the intersection of the Lake of Two Mountains and the Rivière de Prairies in the west island. This adventure submerges us in nature and takes us in a wooden trail constantly contoured by water. The park has a sandy beach and many pick-nick areas where you can enjoy its biodiversity and views of the river. This ride has a distance of 9kms and a duration of 4 hrs with a maximum altitude gain of 35 meters making it an easy to moderate ride.

Included: Fat Bike, Helmet, Drink & Guide-Assistant. Ages 16 & 17 years must be accompanied by an adult. Min. height 5” 1’ and max. of 5” 10’ and up to a max of 275 lbs. The ride is confirmed unless extreme weather conditions. Activity is designed for active, healthy persons that know how to ride a bicycle.

Lachine's Locks

Perhaps the most scenic tour for an easy ride, departing from Summerlea Parc, we follow the St Laurence River crossing 8 parks and historic sites until reaching the Lachine lock #1. This ride has a distance of 13kms and a duration of 4 hrs with a maximum altitude gain of 21 meters making it an easy ride for everyone. 

 

Included: Fat Bike, Helmet, Drink & Guide-Assistant. Ages 16 & 17 years must be accompanied by an adult. Min. height 5” 1’ and max. of 5” 10’ and up to a max of 275 lbs. The ride is confirmed unless extreme weather conditions. Activity is designed for active, healthy persons that know how to ride a bicycle.

Lasalle
 

This adventure explores Angrignon park and takes us to the Lachine canal until reaching the historical site of Lock #1. From there we follow the Saint Laurent River in the neighbourhood of Lasalle where we find different points of interest such as the rapids where surfing is practiced at Vague à Guy continuing to the rapids park where migratory birds enjoy a protected sanctuary. This city exploration is full of nature and amazing views of the rapids located in the south-west portion of the island of Montreal. This ride has a distance of 24kms and a duration of 4 hrs with a maximum altitude gain of 77 meters making it an easy to moderate ride.

Mont Royal Park

Departing from beaver lake we make our way to the top of the park to its iconic cross, from there we start the descent to the Mont Royal Observatory to enjoy the most spectacular views of the city of Montreal and ending right where we started at beaver lake. This ride has a distance of 6kms and a duration of 2 hrs with a maximum altitude gain of 101 meters making it a moderate to hard ride for a feasible challenge.

 

Included: Fat Bike, Helmet, Drink & Guide-Assistant. Ages 16 & 17 years must be accompanied by an adult. Min. height 5” 1’ and max. of 5” 10’ and up to a max of 275 lbs. Old Port & Jean Drapeau

No visit to Montreal can be completed without a visit to the old port and its historical sites, and there is no better way to explore this part of town than with our fat bikes’ tours. This ride takes us from the old port of Montreal to its man-made island Parc Jean Drapeau; 20kms of different trails and roads taking us to unique points of observation and beautiful landscapes. A distance of 20kms and a duration of 4 hrs with a maximum altitude gain of 80 meters making it a moderate to hard ride for a feasible challenge.
